martel hammond

A high-performance athlete for most of his life, Martel “Telly” Hammond has prioritized operating at levels that reflected his dedication to strength, conditioning, and full-body-wellness. His no-excuses approach toward becoming the best version of himself is what led to his career, both in boxing and training. In his early twenties, Martel was in search of a fresh start, an opportunity to walk a more positive path than roads previously traveled. Inspired by a childhood friend, he took up boxing and was immersed in the world of training camps, sparring, and daily workouts, building skills until they became second nature. It was during this time that he developed an even stronger sense of consistency, an understanding of the value of progressing skills over time and that mastering technique and form took precedence over power.

Motivated by a passion to achieve his own goals, Martel began to increase his knowledge not only in physical performance but in how to properly support and fuel his body for the work. He educated himself through trial and error with various programs, he realized that he never truly knew how to train with proper nutrition. Having cracked the code on his own body & created TellyFlex, a customized program that embodies total body wellness with personal training paired with proper nutrition to support his client's goals.
